Sorry for the weather from the NQ

- The bunkers were secured in the field but suprise suprise rednets like the country side
- Great that your gats worked, but I can count at least 4 other gats that were not working ok (not site guns before you ask)
- Compressor no worky hence no airy (not a site compressor)
- Good for you
- Well you will probably find the poeple that did stay (about 15 strong) don't have a huge complaint about the day (minus yourself) and actually had fun.
- There are coaches on the days, if the guys that run the site see you doing something wrong they will help correct it with you to keep in mind for the future(thats what coaches do last time I checked)
- As for Junior Brown, he plays for a pro team in another country, like everything else stuff pops up at the last second and he has most likely had to cancel (no reason for markie to cancel the day)

- Dont lie - some lads put the field up.

-The compressor should of been checked the day before if not - back up air supply (Working diving tanks?)

On the 8th of December we will be holding the next etek newbie 3 man tournament.
(with new compressor ) <<<< hmmm? Organisation?

In the morning you will be taught how to walk fields and basic skills you will need for tournament play – such as important warm-ups and kit organization which are often overlooked, as well as game winning skills such as breakouts, lanes, primary and secondary bunkers, communication etc.

In the afternoon the tournament will start and your coach will be on hand to give you tips all day on your team’s performance. The coach will not be playing but will however be able to help you kit up between games and offer advice on game plans as you progress, building on what you have learnt in the morning.

SO markie c giving you some tips ISNT what he puts in his posts.

i would be worried if i had to help set up a sup air field,try to fill off broken din fills.

- The bunkers were blown up by Seany, Luke, myself (voluntary), Friswell (voluntary) and we were also put back with time due to use having to inspect every inch of every bunker to check for chew holes (consider the amount of bunkers and you will have an idea of what we had to do).
- Only one gun stuck the dive tank, but was removed about a couple of minutes. The rest were simply having velocity problems by the sounds of things.
- That compressor was the backup and I'm sure someone will post up what was wrong with it once they find out.
- The field was indeed different but we still enjoyed the chance of sliding 10 ft passed our bunkers.

This was only an opinion of my own and I am not defending the site simply out of nack.

hey musefrog, just watched the new dvd.

I looked carefully at the first match (Emo vs Gay) and sure enough emo's right player turns and lets off 3-8 balls at his left teammate as said teammate makes a runs for the teabags just like you said.

Not sure whether he actually hit his teammate cause I couldn't make out whether he get hit on the back or not.

First like i said a massive sorry to every one for the weather and yes it was the weather that caused most of the problems.

Right bazzy.

Problems today

Compressor wouldn't start
Problems with bunkers.
Problem with fill rigs.

and i shouted to every one there at the start that the weather was just going to get worst which it did so i gave every one the option to leave because i didnt really want to put on the day which was going to be spolied by the weather.

First off the compressor.

The first compressor wouldn't start due to the weather and it is as simple as that mate.
The second compressor (which is a back up and is checked every day because it is used every day) wouldn't also start due to the cold weather that why at the start i was at the top of the hill sorting that out, after sticking it in a warm room we got it going.

The fill rigs where freezing up because of the weather mate nothing else.

The bunkers where just eat in simple as that some one else stuck up before that it happened to them it does dude that's all i can say.

For the last 3 years i have worked to make paintball more accessible to people especial the new players.

The NQ isn't run as a business it is run for the players and that's it every single penny that goes in to that place comes out of my pocket.

And for you just to stand there and throw comments around like that not only hurts me personally but undermines every thing what we stand.

As far as i am aware every single person got a refund if you didn't then please come and talk to me because i thought that i got every one.

For the players that stayed i charged them half price and then gave them prizes which cost way more than they paid.

The couching side of things still happens but when players and teams always turn up late then it is hard to get every thing in so what we have started doing is is talking to teams after each game.

and junior brown wasn't supposed to be there today so where did that come from.

The only time he hasn't been there and we said is was was a couple of months ago when his car broke down.
The rental marker's we have always go straight away thats why we lend our own markers out as well.
name me some where else that lend eteks or ego's ?? yeah maybe some places do ions and tipmans but where else do 400 to 800 pund markers out ???
If you can find another bad statement or any thing like then i hold my hands up but every one knows that i put 100% into that place for the players not any one else the players.
