yeah, to be fair, this was my fourth time at NQ, and I've also found that all the other times have been really great.

My First time, not what I expected but still great fun and can't wait to go in good weather!!! See you guys at NQ sometime in the new year?

true enough, but that means you often get to shoot an Ego 8 instead of... well, something that's not an Ego 8

It was awesome the difference between other peoples guns and other sites hire guns is amazing! instead of playing with a £50 gun you get to play with a £250 gun!!! What with the complaining?

- Well you will probably find the poeple that did stay (about 15 strong) don't have a huge complaint about the day (minus yourself) and actually had fun.

I found that it was great fun and challenging with a smaller field and less people ( more 1v1s) and your skill improves more.

less people means More playing, I spent about 20mins solid on the field playing 1v1s and 2v2s which is cool.

- The field was indeed different but we still enjoyed the chance of sliding 10 ft passed our bunkers.

I was looking forward to doing some slides without the chance of breaking my legs in some wood somewhere!

The rain presented some good opertunities (sorry for the spelling) for long and I must say cool slides!

Nice takeout Jknight btw, liked how you slide for ages and got away with it as well!!

Quite enjoyed my first proper move and takeout too against you - when I what playing with ?friswell? against you and ?alec?. Alec went out early and I mover up to the deflated bunker in front of you without you seeing me!! Where did I hit you? Was it the head or the torso?

That has nothing to do with it, I do not represent SQ unless I physically say so.

Without sites like NQ working their nuts off constantly day in, day out to get events like this sorted there wouldn't be paintball, end of.

came down today as well and yes i was one of the people who left for this other site Bazzy has mentioned.

Markie C i've read everything you said and understand the reasons and yes the weather was crap and probably was accountable for the majority of the problems.

however a few things that are not weather related:
the "safety" netting was not safe whether the wind had pulled it out of the ground or not, it was dangerous!
secondly there was no crono there at all, the only one there was, was one my friend brought down that happened not to work. sorry again, not good enough.
i know that I'll probably get flamed for this and get told to go and play punter ball but both of these could cause injury and serious problems for the sport.

also you said that there was no coaching because people weren't there on time. my group as with a majority of others were there before half 10. the field wasn't up until around 11:30 and that only because we decided to put it up. as well as this a number of people who i had spoken to who had hired Eteks in advance had not been given.

i know this was probably a one off and it is probably 100 times better in nice weather but oh well this was the one that i went to.

Yeah i hear you mate.

the netting was due to the weather because of the wind sent it over the line and by the time of play it was sorted.

The field didn't go up till late because it was 50/50 if we where going to open at all mate.

Yes thanks for starting to stick it up but at that time we gave every one the option weather to play or not we didn't want to let every one on to the field for it to get worst and then send every one away.

The chorno was there some knocked the battery of that's why at first it didn't work but then was sorted.
The eteks we didnt give out because we didnt want to open thats why we didnt charge any one for them.

The biggest problem today was not every one listing to what was gong on.

I tried twice to get every one together to say "hey guys the weather is just to bad" and it was

but every one was in there own little groups and some where even at the top selling stuff out of a boot. which i have no problem with but then for people o say whats going on then is there own fault.

I really did not want to one today but players just still wanted to play but if i had of said no its not going to happen today then i would still be on here trying to reply to players pissed that it didn't go ahead so ether way i am going to lose.

100 % agree mate that's one of the main reasons i didn't want to open.

I thought it would have been worst with some one sliding over and breaking a ankle.

If people think that is just a money thing that's why we open that has nothing to do with it.

you go to any other tournament and it will cost you 3 times this much to play.

We only want what is best for everyone.

That's why we spend so much money on bringing players like ryan greenspan and davey willimson and juju.

yes I'm completely retarded, i must have missed the big sign saying crono!

now i got that out of my system.

thank you for informing me, but as Markie has already said it was not functioning, the only other crono had been brought by my friend and again did not work. after trying my mates crono i asked one of the marshals/people who worked there who told me that the other one was not working. so i'm sorry i will change what i said there was no WORKING crono. does that make you feel better?

either way, no way of checking fps, then no play.
thats how i go anyway.

and Markie C again thank you for explaining your position and yes i understand how you were caught in a catch 22 as to whether play the day or not.
