i would back the format if they opened more slots up for teams.

if people are going to be dropped due to roster re-writes then if they are as determined as they say then they would want to start their own team, so again "logically" we should see an increase in teams

That will cause a logistic problem! More teams = more game = more fields = more marshals.

As an example we been on the SPL field all weekend in Paris without a break...was hard core!

But I do see your point!

AFAIK the current rules say nothing about how many teams may play Div 1 or any requirements to enter Div 1; it is not yet a locked division like SPL and CPL are.

it will be like this,

div one x ball locked. and 2 div off m5. m5 and m5 div one.

that would make sense because then they dont have to design a 7 man field.

which would/should (delete as opinion dictates) make the game's faster if they were all 5 man.
Yet this year they have 2 field designs both of which have had 5 man played on them this year.

So really the question is, Do they now go to one layout for every division? This would help everybody out, Field owners only need one layout, and teams from all divisions can play each other.
