Because it's good?This is the sort of bo!!ocks tart parts do all the time, and yet people still buy their products.
WHY
Businesses are always trying to screw eachother, its called the real world.
What always seems to happen in these smart parts IP battles is both parties end up in bed together sharing the technology.
Even a company with Kees resources has to put a value on what they are fighting for.
Its usually very tempting for companies to stop fighting eachother over a peice of IP and instead use it to collectively f##k over the rest of the paintball industry.
Should we blame the companies? Or the American legal system for allowing finances to be a deciding factor in many cases.

Back in the day, you could buy Gas Thru 45 Grip frames for Automags
that took Hogue type 45 grips.
I think Phil Web had one on his Mag and I know for certain that his team mate Stevie T (not the one on here) had one.
Cant remember who made the frames tho...might have been Air America maybe...not sure....
Anyone else remember those?
lol yeah, from the sounds of it SP must have a load of people sitting around somewhere just making new marker designs non-stop-just to patent it and then sue anyone who also happens to have the same idea.
