If used: How used are they, as in how long have they been in use for?

Specs?

I know my 7600 is a bit outdated for next gen games. Hence why i am going to purchase a 8800. But im going to wait until around xmas time for them to drop a little.

My p4 is a 775. But i have no idea how much cooling equipment costs, how to install etc...

And as for the 850ht thing, i have no idea what your on about.

EDIT: What cooling are you talking about? Air/fans or water cooling.

First of all there is some dodgy advice going on here ;) I think perhaps you should listen to people that actually know what they are talking about :D

If you have ANY interest in doing any sort of overclocking and performance boosting then its defiantly not worth your while in buying any sort of budget or generic RAM as these just can't handle anything past what they are designed for and you just won't get the timings out of them,

www.custompc.co.uk is a good site for finding reviews on most pieces of equipment.

I would also recommend http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/ as a good source of reviews and price comparison.

If your mobo can handle it always try and purchase all RAM in matched sticks this way you can run them in Dual Channel and dramatically boost performance.

In my older rig I've got 2 of these http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=71473 kits and I can safely say its the best RAM I've used to date. Really good overclockers and the stock timings are superb. Not too pricey either :)

If you have any questions, I'm happy to try and help you out

Cheers
J

Edit: http://www.custompc.co.uk/labs/601146/ddr2-ram/products.html is a recent test on DDR2 RAM :)

Dont know, but what part do you want to know the temperature of?

I have Everest which tells you everything you have in your PC and more, i think it tells temps too.

GFX Card (when not playing games): 50-58
When playing games i dont know but i expect it to go higher

CPU: Cant find a temperature, dont know how to, everest didnt have one.

RAM: Dont know

I guess ill have to have a look around the bios for a temp.
