Sponsorship
I understand how you think, but you are wrong on some points.
Regarding Joy and WDP its a relationship based very much on friendship. We have during 12 years being supported by WDP and have grown together with them. The gun have been developed with a close working process together with us and therefore we have been very pleased with the hardware. And we are still convinced that the gun today is the best we can ever get.
Now WDP took good care of us while we was a team that nobody have ever heard of, they continued to take care of us while we slowly climbed up the ranking and now while we have had some years of success wouldnt it be just a ugly thing to change sponsors beacuse we have had a better offer?
I think it would and I also think it would be bad buisness decision long term. What will happen if you have some bad years? And the new sponsor have found a new "upcomming" team to sponsor?
Also it depends very much on why you are in the sport. Is it to make as much money as possible? Well if your not Oliver Lang then I guess your doing the wrong thing. But if youre doing this for the same reason as we are, and that is to have as much fun as possible then working with your friends is much more rewarding than anything else.
Regaring Dye, yes we stayed loyal to Dye but Dye cut us this year. It was a bit suprising but we did what we could to stay with them. And regarding other offers. Yes we have got many offers the last year witch is alot more money than we currently have, but we have explained that we will never leave WDP. Having Owen, Ged, Jon and Matt, Frazier, Nikki and all the other good people on our side is worth millions for us.

Hi JotajotaZ.I love Joy as much as anyone out here, and I think they show a lot of respect for their sponsors but, what's with this "staying loyal to their sponsors" bull****?
They are a good team, very well managed and as such they will change sponsors every time they perceive that a new sponsor will be better in the mid/long term than the one they currently have.
We could ask DYE if they were loyal to death with them, right? I remember them in dye gear not that long ago, have some awesome pics of them in Malaga with the Invisions....
I don't think they will be swapping markers because Angel is as good a marker as any other in the top (slightly better or slightly worse than others based on personal preference) but the long-time relationship will weight in. I seriously doubt that if they were to get an offer that would allow them to have, say, 4 more players dedicated full-time to playing they would "stay loyal" to the sponsor because that would be being unloyal to the team. And that, that would really be a surprise.
