You'd kinda think that the last bill SP got (allegedly $6million) from their attorneys re the WDP case might have put them off from any further litigation proceedings ....but ya never know ....I think an important question to ask is how could any paintball-sized company have 28 employees that they don't NEED?
..On second thoughts it's probably just lawyers and patent filers
Tanked is a couple of young german guys that make clothes - they are not a factor in this debate - very few are:no they are not sponsoring my team whats a shame
Here's another one:Watch out Nick, that's you one good point for the day, you used it early
In terms of teams that might struggle, it's going to be some very simple rules next year.
Simply being Pro means very little
Being Pro with some geographical "lock" is good, but hard to quantify
Being Pro with geographical lock and podium finishes is better
Being Pro with geographical lock, podium finishes and an affiliated store/field through which to move product is the best
The companies will start at the top and work their way down - the difference is they'll "run out" of money from their budgets faster than they have this year. So those that were lower down the list might not get those "automatic" deals they had this year, and if they get anything, it'll probably be less generous.
So just go through the rankings and see who you think is worth sponsoring...
So the question becomes - if there is no decline in the European market - will we actually see any drops in sponsorships - or just a redistribution of them?2 for 2 and it's not even lunchtime - the boys on fire
I was only talking about Pros, but you're right (that hurt) and I wouldn't even put "in many instances" as a qualifier...
