my couple of pence..
I was on here last couple of weeks begging teams to let me play.. I have no chance to leave the country cas the wife won't let me and its my first year on the property ladder.. so I am skint.. but.. our team did not play the 2 day HG event so I had all this spare cash to float around...
now I felt the 5 man was value for money so wanted to play for a 5 man team.. However it turns out I was blessed to play for Militent Order and if anyway watch us play against Outrage on Saturday you know we where not there to play for just our best and win
For me paintballing is about fun, playing for the experience.. Now I don't mean play without the competitive nature..We played our hearts out but thats not good enough sometimes when the team just doesn't click and your playing some of the best teams both leagues had to offer..Freestyle, Outrage, Echo, Xtreme Paintball to name some of the teams we played..
At the end of the day Campaign is a big UK event and I think everyone should come down and experience it.. if you can't afford it thats fine.. but I spent alot of money to lose 8 games but I've not lost the love of paintball, I think I've gain my respect of paintball and rather than retire at the end of this year I would def like to return to Campaign at whatever capacity I can...I intend to save the money from now so I can afford to go again and from there make an european presense as well.. see rather than look at it to first play on overseas first, campaign has motivated me to save for an overseas event also.. with that in mind maybe, hopefully there will be more of a british presence over there..
This year I left Bristol at 2.30am Friday and was the very first person there at 5.30am.. I intend to do that again
Thanks for Militent Order for making my first Campaign an experience that will keep a smile on my face for days to come
