If anyone with a decent reputation goes to one of these can they please create a new thread giving feedback with regards to the tournament. Would like to hear how it goes.
From the looks of it there are a lot of very very new people posting on this thread defending it. Something tells me they work, or could be mates with the site owner.

That is the only point in your statement that was an issue mateand as you were posting i edited my post
My problem is that there is nothing in the major part of the promotion to show any heritage in the sport
How can you advertise the best tournament in the UK based on running a couple of 3 man events and the word of a relative newbie. Investigation reveals that the quality of some of the players behind the scenes is not in doubt, but the thing is that instead of being behind the scenes they should front this venture to give it the credibility it deserves. If you are not willing to front it then this poses some questions as far as I am concerned.

The main people behind it are well known, but for some reason don't want to front this venture

no mate , you need to read the whole thread again, the only people that are defending are about un-true claims made by graeme b of events that happened at a 3 man event that is run by the same company that intends to run this 5 man
im not a friend or work for said company (guys who have already commented on this thread can confirm this), but i was at the 3 man on wednesday night and can confirm that graeme b`s comments are totally un-accurate, it makes no difference to me what happens to this event, but i just felt i needed to clear up his claims where untrue , why he has said these things is beyond me...
please note im not defending this 5man event, just commenting on un-true claims made by graeme b on the 3man...
i will reserve comment on the 5man till after it has played.

DW, me and you gotta sit down mate and discuss the true definition of 'well known' and just because Mr Jones the butcher from Cleethorpes has heard of one of these individuals doesn't exactly constitute a 'well known' tag.
