Firstly Graeme, NO-ONE has ever been shot 15 to 20 times in the whole time the tourny has been runnin so not sure how you got that number... if youve ever played/seen dvds etc. you would have noticed it is possible that in a sport were guns are shooting 14+ bps that if someones mugged from a bunker, or panick shoots there could well be 5 or 6 balls in the air before they stop firing!

The guy that got shot in the side of the head got hit ONCE! and paint went into his ear with a small amount of the shell making a SMALL cut inside the ear lobe... Have you NEVER had a paintball break the skin???

I also seem to remember that I followed tony out into the safe area and stayed with him for 5 untill i was happy he was ok, for one he is a close friend and secondly im a registered first aider.

Marshalling is hard, there is no mistake and the fact that this is a SELF MARSHALLED event means theres bound to be disputes with other players on the opposite teams tryin to aid friends. I was marshalling last night. I know that I can't physically be on every quarter of the field at every moment so have to rely on others' (players) decisions sometimes!

The local teams (85%+ of people there) are all FULLY aware that chronoing of guns is mandatory before playing and you should be comforted to know that nearly every gun on the field was spot checked at some point over the night. ONE gun was over that was on the field and that was a ONE SHOT SPIKE and the person in question is new to the sport and imediately turned down his velocity before even leaving the field!!!

The 'HOT' guns were all fired over the chrono by NON PLAYERS and did NOT go onto the playing field! There were quite a few guys who had just come down to watch, and be around paintball, and test and compare markers - that's part of the fun of Wednesday nights - they're social events as well as fun tournies.

Anyone who reads the above post by greame please do not be put off. The three man tourney is slick running and fast paced. Everything has slight flaws but that post has blown small dramas into serious issues.

well baby dave... the allen key in question was passed under the netting in a safe place to do so.

there not, the chrono is at the side of the field on an oil drum which people leave tools on, the guy went from the playing field to chrono then to safe area

look some of you lot know me and some dont its like this i play at these tornies and as far as tornies go this is great one local and a lot of friendly ppl attend like they do at other tornies so what i say dont knock it try it first then post your opinions its alot cheaper than some tornies that i have attended
and as for you graeme all markers are chrono,d and no markers and i REPEAT NO MARKERS WERE RAMPING.......because that aint allowed and never will be so get your facts right before you accuse and if you know of these ppls guns who were ramping then why didnt YOU PULL THEM BECAUSE YOU WERE MARSHALLING OH BUT YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THAT DIDNT YOU and if you sit back and look the person who first replyed to this hasnt said much now stir the pot and leave it is that the case
