So there will be a NE league, SW, Northern quarter, D7's and UKM in the midlands. Soon you won't even need to leave your home town to play. Which suits me TBH....

so pretty much from what i have seen on paintball kit 1 of the best teams is northern storm/thunder a medioca (sp) div 4 team. No offence to you guys but its not like a top team, nexus, distruption, stealers, kellys and hell of a lot more.

Dazzla, you never did answer the question posed, in fact you did a good job of walking round all of them, you say you have been around a bit, but I have no idea who you are and I bet a lot of people on here have no idea bar the guys at the 3 man.

Also who are these pro refs your getting, ukrefs, eurorefs? some of the uk masters, nspl or d7 refs who have been around a while.

Maybe I am being sceptical but we have all heard on baller this so many times im going to do this, im going to do that and very rarely does it ever materialise into anything. Some information on how this will be the "real deal" and how this is going to change the face of paintball in not just the north east but everywhere would be nice.

Right guys, time for my 2 pence worth.......

I went along to last nights tournament and quite frankly i was appauled!!! Numerous reasons for this:

Firstly- The overshooting - I saw on numerous occasions guys been shot 15-20 times as they were walking off the field and by players that should know better. I saw one incident where the guy was shot in the head about 10 times, and when he came off the field his ear was pissing blood out and not one of the organisers went to see if he was ok or anything!!! And the fact that some of the overshooting was being aimed at players that had hardly played before, doubt some will return...great advert for my beloved sport. Cheers guys!!!!

Secondly-The marshalling (Oh great wasn't it....not!!!) - Firstly allowing the guys to overshoot and doing sweet F A about it!!! Also, the amount of arguing that was being thrown at the marshals was stupid!!!! Hang on Guys are there no penalty's for this? Every other tournament has them!!! The fact that one marshall admitted to wiping one player down after he had gone in to check him cos he played on one of the site sponsored teams!!! The shortage of Marshalls was also a problem!! Oh and before anyone has a go saying its hard to marshal it as some of you that know me will know, i marshalled last night (guy in the red eclipse top with white grills)!!! And that was because i felt that too many people were gettin away with too much!!!

Thirdly- Markers/Chrono - I thought that all markers were to be checked for chrono? In that case then how come i got hit with a marker that when chrono'd after the game, chrono'd at 376 Fps?!?!?! How the F**K is that legal and how was it not checked!!!! Also the use of ramping!!! I thought this was a non-ramping tournament, how come then i know that at least 4 markers were ramping??? I will not name names but why should i?


To conclude...I have only been around paintball tourney for just over a year now but last night was the only time i have wanted to play not cos i wanted but because i felt annoyed at the sh*t that was happening!!! I never go to that again!!! And as for the 5 man event coming up...you must be having a giraffe!!! You need to make this tourney work safely first before you even think about doing a 5 man event!!!

Quote of the night was, "45 games in a night...lets see the masters do that!" Fair do's they dont do 45 games in that space of time but at least they are all safe games and LEGAL games!!!!

This was why I was sceptical as I had spoken to Graeme early and to be honest i think its attrocious, and he hasnt written everything he told me either.

So now how can you say this is going to be the future of paintball, overshooting, non legal toruney modes, crappy refs, stupidly hot guns (these hot guns were site markers by the way) if this is the future I quit now.

They Gun that was put ova the crony at 370 was never used on field at 370fps the marker had a problem and was trying to fix it we have all been there

also to add the guy you say got shot in the head 10 times and his ear was pissing of blood is an exaggeration, the guy you are refurring to is a friend of mine, tony...he did not get shot in the head 10 times!! he took a hit to the side of his head, he was wearing soft ears, bits of the shell went thru the gaps of the soft ears cutting him....he was not pissing of blood!!

as for ramping....thats crap mate, yes there were a couple of guys dry firing with barrel socks on in the safe area, playing with different modes, but these were not used in any games!! fact!!

I agree Jon were not a top team at all so no offence taken mate (considering it was you and furion who got us where we are ) but thanks to Dazzla for thinking so

As far a a couple of things G said I have to disagree a bit. It was me doing the overshooting, completely by accident and i was rempremanded for this by having to sit out. Big appologies to Tinfish and the guys, you know I love you. As for blood pissing out, mate thats just wrong, a nick on his ear thats it

The hot marker was a cocker and was not used it was being fixed and never got used.
