dan brown books are good, as are all of clive custler books, frank millers graphic novel makes for a good 15 minute read. also cold zero written by christopher whitcomb is superb. a boy called it and the 2 books after that are bit of a sad/horrific story but are very good. just few ideas imo

I read the da vinci code, then started to read Angels and Demons, couldn't finish it though. Was far too similar to da vinci.

I'm currently working my way through Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. Awesome books.

Angels and Demons had a much better ending than The Da Vinci code. Used to be a fan of Stephen King before I realised they were all more or less the same. So until the new Alastair Humphreys offering, I guess I may try that World War Z...

I will go back and read Angels and Demons, it just felt far too similar as I'd just finished reading Da Vinci Code at the time.

I'm not a huge fan of King's in general, although I did love The Stand and The Dark Tower series is awesome so far (I'm up to book 4) but it's not particularly similar to his usual work.

its meant to be angels and demons before the da vinci code time scale wise but i found reading da vinici first better. also the rest of his books, i.e digital fortress and deception pont are fantastic reads aswell nothing like da vinci and angels and demons, but still his marvellous work. well worth the read.
