actaully agree on the ion too

they have a bad reputation moreso i deem not cos of the quality of manufacture (which lets face it, is on the low end) but more because people dont appreciate you need to look the hell after your marker:

1 - especially if its a spool valve
2 - espeically if certain parts are 'weaker' than you're used to

FWIW i owned an ion for a month for testing purposes and it worked perfect.
nary so much as a barrel pop in over 6 cases.

ions = none pretentious down to earth people who know other peoples oppinions dont matter

tippmans = people new to paintball

dm/pm = people who will sacrifice a little bit of reliability and function to be slightly different to the main crowd

cockers = newbie tourny players looking for a cheap electro or old folks who have never changed

mags = people who like using words that other paintballers dont know

matrix = cheapskates or people who payed £2000 for one 4 years ago

pumps = quirky people who enjoy being at a dissadvantage and making do

hybrid = people who like th bling

mini = people who like small technology, they probably have an in ear radio aswell

impulse = usually the smallest kid on a new team who seems to be managing fine with it.
