Seems madness that these regulations have been around for 8 years and enforced for 4 years yet suddenly someone has noticed that it applies to regs as well?

You can almost hear the shop owners rubbing their hands together with glee. Come to think of it, who noticed this in the first place *conspiracy theory starts here*.

Can someone confirm which regs are (supposedly) legal?

If, as posted, they are going to subject to check which are as stringent as those for bottles, does that mean 5 years tests for them as well?

Where does it stop.....macro line? elbows? gun regs? solenoids?
You'll find that the fittings, macroline, solenoids, are already certified for ped.
It's regs that are in question here, and gun parts.

A lot of this problem has been kept behind closed doors, and a fair bit has been purposely let out of those doors, and it will come to a head soon as it's being guided along quite carefully to suit certain needs.
I only hope this pans out in a way that helps paintball, and doesn't hinder our pleasure.:(

Comerton in Seaton Deleval, Tyne and Wear is a very very good place to have bottles tested and passed for safety. I will have a word with them and see if I can get them more involved with paintballing. They sell great bottles both dive and firemens bottles.

Andy I read that more as they wanted it tested now and a new test date will be given on the bottle and the reg. I'll try and contact Andy at YPC and Bully to get them to make a comment so that we can all have peace of mind. All I know is there are Air Policies in place for sites. These cover un trained filling of bottles, fills only to 3000 psi etc.

Cheers mate, would be good for piece of mind.

If everyone suddenly has to fork out £45 before they can use their bottles next it'll be a huge blow. Several of my team (myself included) would probably have to sit out the next round of the masters in order to afford that.

To be honest I don't think enough sites or in fact many sites know the full ins and outs of it all. I would not worry about a sudden over night test being enforced. What I would do is put a few quid away every week just incase it is put in place.
