Well guys In it's wisedom the council believes that a paintball gun can fire no further than 120 so has told a paintball site that it needs no safety netting along theroad it is on. This to me is a disgrace that will lead toan accident for the public and bring our good safety records crashing down. I am glad most of you voted wisely. A few have wasted their votesbeing funny like hiting 1 on the vote meter. But at least I can forward this to the council, as would be nice to see the site open safely.

simple answer, pop on their site one closed day, and collect some paint. Make sure it's the same colour as the next days play, and walk by the site when the play is near the missing netting, then oops you're accidently hit by the paint you've collected. Complain to the council/police, job done.

120 feet or metres?
If it's metres then fine, the only way a paintball will fly that far is with a shot so angled it would have cleared any netting.
But 120 feet? Why not send them a bit of paintball footage, that's not even back corner to back corner on some sup air fields..

Better still, ask some councillors to stand 120 feet away while you shoot them :)

Exactly but after seeing the Newcastle Journal Page 3 today I think the residents that live next to the place are having there say !!! 120 Feet is shocking and I have no problem with any paintball site opening if they know what they are doing. But if it runs a risk of bringing paintball into the light in a bad way I have serious problems with it. If I had a site that had a road within 100 metres of range I'd net it just to be safe.
