Even on the standard EGO 06 board you can adjust the MROF in semi, wouldn't be that bothered really as I can shoot faster than 10/12

But saying that if a standard has been set, stick with it.

as a person who all season has had a max 12 capped gun on my ego o5 ....i found that i had less chops longer battery life in loader and of coarse less paint useage than my team mates with just as consistant ropes of paint ...so im in favour

I also was meaning that the newer technology for increasing rate of fire would have been all for nothing, however of course you could then concentrate on efficiency , accuracy and less kick.

EDIT: All in all i'm quite easy on which ROF we use to be fair, doesn't bother that much that i'd stop playing!

wierd, i actually noticed this the other week, and wondered if your eyes were glitching and you had your EYE OFF ROF set to 12 (which is standard on EGOs)

learn a new thing everyday!

In Russells first post, this was about whether or not to lower the cap to allow more movement on the field.

You can't deny that a slower rate of fire would promote more movement on the field, but the burning question is...."have you the player grown so accustomed to the 15bps ramping, you would hate to see that control leave the game.

Anything that gives a more level playing field, i think is a major step to promoting this game in any future chance of becoming a recognised sport.

as long at they are all set the same 8, 12, 15, 20 it'll be a level playing field,

I think the ramping can also help movement because it is easier to run and gun to pressure people as you move.

The point is not to make it easier for strong players to move and dominate the game, rather to let the lesser player with a smaller budget to compete at the same level.

After being at world cup , russ was there as well ,all the games we played in were all very quick every one moved easily got to there spots and all the points were under 2mins

The only games that i saw play out as such were the NXL games , A) they have full auto on there guns and also there is soooo much at stake with 50000$ plus all the contingency money from sponsors , players are told to stay on lanes and not come off them , so it ends up in slow games .pretty much no brainer !!

changing the rate off fire from 15 -12 is not going to change a thing in Europe and the UK especially as 95% of players are quite happy to sit behind there bunkers and shoot there 1000$ guns, rather than get off there ass and move up the field .
