think of the amount it costs you to play one tournament and then just consider how little the UKPSF membership costs, what 10% of the cost of one tourney...
Can i just use airsoft as an example here....doesnt have a governing body and as a consequence when all replica firearms were banned airsoft equipment was classed and so a lot of players suffered, with a governing body to represent the players maybe this wouldnt have happened. Think of what would happen if something similar happened with paintball.....well done Steve, thanks

I'm a member because I believe in what Steve Bull is trying to do in creating a coherent and responsible organisation that can represent us on an official level.

If and when we do, as a sport, begin to go mainstream then it's people like Steve, who were willing to put in the time and commitment prior to this next step in development, who should be the guys who are there to represent us.
As long as he keeps his feet on the ground, negotiates the political minefield (industry and teams) with an impartial attitude, then all should be well for us.
Good luck to Bully and all who sign up for the UKPSF is what I say.

ok yeah, the old recognised sport , those that now will laugh and say whatever, this sht costs serious amounts of dosh to put before sport england, the feedback, should be what can i do to help, without the ukpsf, us as site operators and icons within this (SPORT) would be paying dearly to operate sites (insurance capped - accerdited venues - insurance - ten years or kick ass tournies, hse - standards - enhancements - guv representation- uk ranking - as well as running three sites- yeah steves been slack, and the ukpsf do **** all, those that know now go on rant mode, team s.w.a.t. and s.w.a.t. paintball activities ltd and its other companies support the ukpsf, so if youve had your head up your ass for the last twenty paintball years shut the **** up, most of the old asses on here were playing with splats and stick feeds when you were throwing teddies out of the pram and looking at tits as a source of food, end of 2p, its just ran out

The Paintball Association
The thing is, most players in this country think they know everything about the relevant law appertaining to paintball, and the sad truth is most of them know squat.
What the UKPSF is doing is helping protect the game of paintball as we play it at the moment.
We have one of the safest records when it comes to high pressure air in this country but the vast majority of us are breaking the law when we fill our tank over 3000 psi.
If something happened at a site caused by a players air system, the first thing the department of heath and safety would do is close down the site until a full report had been carried out.
The site owner would have a valid claim on the person who caused the incident and the insurance that the membership of the UKPSF would give you would cover you against all losses.
If the “Madrid incident” had occurred in the UK, we would all be back using Co2, if we were lucky.

The Paintball Association
And just to correct another point, The Paintball Association is the only body in the UK that have met the criteria required to be invited to put an application to the Sports Council for paintball to be recognised as a sport,
That application is now being considered and carries the full support of the UKPSF.

ANYONE SLAGGING OF UKPSF SHOULD BE KICKED OFF A SITE !!

My life is made easy running a site because Steve Bull has created the Code Of Practise which any site should run by ! Without this and it's regular updates i'd have a lot of my time taken up learning the laws etc. I'd have to employ people to do the work that Steve and Co do puting this together.

Also because of the UKPSF we still have paintball in this country as he stood up and made a stand for the sport. The goverment tried changing the laws which would have effect this game if Steve had not made a stand.

£12.50 for insurance is peanuts for what you get !! My walk on players are getting told they must have this to get on site. I want them to take their responcibility seriously !

Steve I have total respect for what you do and I hope people sit back and look at the safety record of paintball in this country and thank you !

PAINTBALL ALEXANDRIA is a accredited member or the ukpsf and runs from the code of practice (the book makes sence btw)

on another note at the site conferance back in march there was somthing
mentioned about getting paintball made into a sport in the grade 2 catogory
which means we are not allowed to apply for lottery grants ,as the grade 1 sports are is this still the case
