I'm a member because I believe in what Steve Bull is trying to do in creating a coherent and responsible organisation that can represent us on an official level.

If and when we do, as a sport, begin to go mainstream then it's people like Steve, who were willing to put in the time and commitment prior to this next step in development, who should be the guys who are there to represent us.
As long as he keeps his feet on the ground, negotiates the political minefield (industry and teams) with an impartial attitude, then all should be well for us.
Good luck to Bully and all who sign up for the UKPSF is what I say.

If poker and chess is a recognised sport then really, so should paintball. I think its a painful story as to why paintball isnt, but having a recognised governing body that almost every paintballer is a member of can only be a good thing for the "sport".

Really, its hardly any money and you get massive coverage, your showing your support (and if you play at UKPSF events you normally get a discount)

Cover is for players playing at a UKPSF sanctioned event*.

*UKPSF sanctioned event - Walk on days, scenario events, tournaments that meet UKPSF criteria

Current Event Organisers

Genesis Events - Wakefield
Genesis Events - Yorkshire Paintball Centre
Genesis Events - Campaign Paintball
Genesis Events - Dragons Lair
Genesis Events - Phoenix Paintball
Genesis Events - Warped Sports (pending)

The only one that is seems to be covered is the Genesis events.

Best you check with your event organsier first as to me you are not covered by just having a membership at any other event.

It's a good idea, but we need all tournament organisers to be covered.

But be prepared for entry fees to go up if they are covered as someone has to do all the preperation work.

Peace

chris mt believe it,s just a code of practice the event has to run too, like air passes after some training about hpa,so that every tom dick and harry cann,t fill a bottle without a pass etc.etc.etc, so there probably would be no extra cost to organisers,if there is would think it was minimal as genesis events cost no more than others, but the best person to ask would be bully

On the UKPSF website you are only covered by the insurance if it is a UKPSF sanctioned event.

It makes no mention to the PA league, NSPL or any other UK tournie.

So guess what - you don't have the insurance, unless someone wants to make it clear what actual events are covered.

I am a member and if the UKPSF can saction some sup air tournmants, that would be a big step forward. I dont see what the point is in National Paintball Club though, just seems like more money for something that UKPSF can do.
