Everyone seems to agree that Alex and the 2nd-to-last Joy player were called out together on a simul. BC then runs to the snake to "make sure". I was watching from the VIP side of the field and I (and others) are virtually certain that BC got hit by the last Joy player going into the snake, and was out.
The 2nd to last Joy player DID NOT PLAY ON. I watched the replay, over and over, in slow motion - Fraige got shot after he was eliminated, coming out of the snake, but it was BC who shot him. You can clearly see the hit breaking on Fraige's leg and BC's gun pointed down and the 2nd-to-last Joy player's gun pointed up in the air.
Then the last Joy player comes through and shoots up BC (who is already eliminated) pretty good. I THINK that's where the penalty came from - the last Joy player shot BC, and you can see BC put his gun over his head, and he gets a good 8-12 more shots. I can't tell from the replay angle whether those shots were excessive or the Joy player wasn't aware he'd already hit BC already since there were players/refs in the way (not that I'd blame him exactly since the Joy player already shot BC when he made his move into the snake).
On straight paintball, Joy won the match. I can't tell if the malicious overshooting penalty at the end for the last Joy player shooting up BC was warranted (or even if that was actually the penalty given). If the 2-for-1 was instead issued for overshooting Fraige, then the refs screwed up, because it was Cole that shot Fraige when he was dead, not Joy, and if it was for the last Joy player shooting Fraige while trying to shoot BC, Fraige should have gotten a playing-on penalty because his band was pulled and he was still on the field interfering with play. (He didn't immediately exit the field, he loitered around a bit in the snake.)
Either way, I still don't understand why you have a Pro finals field, players in the snake, and *NO* refs on the INSIDE of the snake. Things would have been a lot more clear-cut if there'd been a ref on the inside to see whether Cole got shot going in or not.
