Why dont you just get a super huge barrel you are talking about and when game on is called, poke all the other team in the eyes with said barrel, then they wont be able to see you to shoot you.

Now supposing the eddible barrel idea was legal, im guessing to keep it legal you would have to eat it down from the far end cus if you bit off the back first and then proceeded the monch down on it that way then you would be buggered for having two seperate barrels on field at one time.... so with such a light and structuraly unstable barrel how would you get your mouth to the end of the barrel without breaking cover and without the barrel snapping with the weight of the gun or from the friction/turbulence of said gun being pushed along the ground while you are manouvering it?
Lets face it, your idea just isnt workable
