you see where this is going

assuming theres nothing in the rules about max length of barrrels *and i cant be arsed reading them so i wont know*

it would allow your back corners to start behind there bunkers, then snap off **** barrel and screw in your freak kit

altho i think if your pack falls off you have to retrieve it, so you probably wouldnt be able just to discard pieces of equipment

Now, think about the effect on velocity that changing a barrel made entirely of smarty tubes, at 12ft in length, to a freak kit, at 14 inches in length would be?

The barrel is counted as a key part of equipment. You are not allowed to be separated from essential equipment by more than a few feet. So unless you intend to keep your 'barrel' on for the duration then no joy.

Getting even more ridiculous now, you could get lots of tubes of different widths and link them together so they all fit inside each other - Extend on the break then at your bunker collapse it down and fasten it to your pack
