Hmmm... How about reseting this poll, and then only have people who attended all of the events vote again? :)

I think Campaign will end up in either the 5th or 4th spot - as I hinted earlier on, I personally think Madrid deserves the 3rd place so much more than Campaign - everything taken into consideration it would actually only be fair!

And this said without trying to start a verbal fight or being slaughtered! ;)

The reason Amsterdam was dropped was due to the lack of teams that attended.

People either want a holiday or they want to play a paintball.
Amsterdam, for the teams that did attend, was more of a holiday than a serious PB event.

If you want to go to Amsterdam then go. It will be alot cheaper than going AND having to pay out the cash to play paintball aswell!!!

I see your point and if Amsterdam does not attract as many players (as Madrid will do ;) ), then it´s OK if there won´t be DMA´s again.

Imho it´s up to the teams and what they will make out of it. Seems to me that marseille/madrid make for a nicer holiday than Amsterdam will do.
If a team goes to any city at whichever place it will be (attending a tourney), they should be serious or stay at home. For me it´s just fun to be with the guys from my team and play serious ball. If we are at a nice venue that will add to the experience and therefore it´s all good.

Really? Dma2002 and 2003 had good number of teams. 2004 season was split with 7-man and X-ball, and the DMA got the short stick with X-ball. 2005 was on par with other Mil events, except for div 3, where DMA had less teams. Maybe there wasn't enough profit generating teams :D

Also, I noticed overall attendance in 2006 was down from 2005. The only tourny to gain more teams was Iberian Cup, which certainly won't happen again next year..

I think it's a shame the Millennium have to preclude the Iberian Cup because I think Spain is a great place to hold a tourney for obvious reasons, the real problem is not the location but the promoter and as long as they keep Pedro well away from having anything to do with it, then all would be OK.

I think the Millennium board should ignore the political implications of holding a tournament in Spain and do what's bets for the teams and players rather than having to worry about what Pedro thinks if he's told to keep away.

BUT the hotels and food were expensive for most teams - even with the millennium discount

You're lucky your parents come out with you!

And i'm luckier they put up with me too :D

Apart from that i thought Paris was awesome - thou i can't compare it to any other but Campaign...

Marseille was a brilliant event both for playing and for promoting our sport. When members of the public can see paintball played like that, right on the beach front of a major european city has to be the best event. Events like campaign and madrid that were layed out poorly and poorly advertised cant compare to something like marseille.
