lol yeah me too mario, thought it was going to be a good argument at least...
anyway, as aleady stated it is due to refs knowing which guns are more likely to bounce/have cheat boards in them.
as for using a lot of paint, if you are talking about the uk masters koth, it was agreed i was reffing the last one and it was stated to the refs that we were allowed to use upto a hopper of paint to check a suspect gun and that this was to be made clear to the captains at their meeting. if you didnt know that its down to your captain....there is nothing stopping you takeing a pot to the feild to top up your hopper after chronoing on to the field.

Players and marshalls still hold their prejudices towards timmy's cause they were the first one's to be identified really as a 'cheater' gun.
Also, marshalls suck at finding cheater boards.

in div4 the ego and dm got chronod all the time ;p only once did my ion got chronod and the guy just felt sorry for me ^_^
Well put yourself in my possition, our 5th member pulling out the DAY BEFORE so having to get a replacement who couldnt get the money together by the next day, so I have not only to pay my entry and for my paint, I have to do it for him aswell. I dont plan on being in that possition, but say it was you in my possition and you end up playing 2 less games cos uve run out of paint, where if the marshals wernt so trigger happy you could be playing? I know I sure as hell wouldnt be happy about that. Lol we did pretty bad, only won the games when it was raining lol, so next time we hope it pours with rain
Theres doing there job then theres taking the piss like that 1 marshal, granted if he wanted a go with it, no problem but he can use his own f'in paint. Some of the marshals (feilds 1 2 and 5) were realy good with it, fired only a few shots, hell the one of the marshals on feild 5 ended up having a 10 min convo about my timmy with me cos he liked it so much.
I've read through this thread and whereas you may have a point about a couple of trigger-happy marshalls at the chrony, why on earth have you deemed it racism???
Reword the title on this thread mate, the current one is making a indication that marshalls were picking on players based on colour or race.
