It isn't that simple though, because over 2 days you are looking at added hotel costs, if people can get time off work (if they work saturday) which a lot of our guys certainly do, and then the added expenditure of food etc being away an extra day/night...Well why not put the money away/hand over to manager as if the round had been played. That isn't rocket science!
The good thing is you can camp there which will keep the cost down for 2x days/nights but have you been out in that village..... Jesus its dire, no cash points only 2x pubs and ones the size of a small living room. Not much about for the people staying on site.plus the added fuel costs and whatever else that they paid for the one that was cancelled...
if only tourney fees were the only fees associated with an event... you have to add on all related things to get the true picture
sounds like a good idea.They could always just calculate average scores for all teams based on the last 4 rounds for round 5, would be a shame not to play it, but then people who have shelled out and may have difficulty paying for the extra still get a result based on their performance on the last 4 rounds.
