Very surprised I saw that on Facebook tbh especially with what has been written. He is continuing to operate like nothing has happened.

I'm sure Robbo can shed some light

I called Tommy last week and although he hadn't decided who was gonna be running it next year, he was absolutely sure that barnett wouldn't be running with it.
I think someone mentioned that because barnett's revenue streams have all been seriously hit, he might well keep running under the name 'UWL' and hope some teams still wanna play even though it won't be the authentic UWL.
I'm not sure people should sign up, or indeed pay any money to barnett whatsoever until we know who the new promoter will be.
I know the two people Tommy told me were in the running to take it over but neither had been confirmed.
I'll get in touch with Tommy now and he can confirm what he told me last week.
As soon as I know, you will .....

This was my interpretation on things.

We know he has no scruples when it comes to intellectual property, surely he can't get away with promoting it as a UWL event without people questioning it?

He launched the ticket sale now perhaps to bring in desperately needed money, trouble is anyone handing it over might be taking a helluva risk....trying to get it back could be harder than a cat burying a turd on a marble floor!
Nothing a jackhammer or good old hammer, chisle and elbow grease can't fix...

... as for the marble floor though...

Which could now be construed as a deliberate intention to defraud, as per Fraud Act 2006m namely section 2 among others.

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/35

2 Fraud by false representation

(1) A person is in breach of this section if he—

(a) dishonestly makes a false representation, and
(b) intends, by making the representation—
(i) to make a gain for himself or another, or
(ii) to cause loss to another or to expose another to a risk of loss.

(2) A representation is false if—

(a) it is untrue or misleading, and
(b) the person making it knows that it is, or might be, untrue or misleading.

(3) “Representation” means any representation as to fact or law, including a representation as to the state of mind of—

(a) the person making the representation, or
(b) any other person.

(4) A representation may be express or implied.

(5) For the purposes of this section a representation may be regarded as made if it (or anything implying it) is submitted in any form to any system or device designed to receive, convey or respond to communications (with or without human intervention).
He is now quite possibly skating close to some very serious criminal activity.

Christ on a stick!

If he gets just 10 unlucky victims, that's £7,500!

That kind of blatant "offer" can now only be for one purpose alone - get as much revenue before the sh!t hits the fan. It's a very bold move to make, which could mean it's going to be his (and Suzi's) final roll of the dice before they both do a moonlight flit.
