Ok then i'll rephrase it. In my opinion there's absolutely nothing wrong with using clear paint in the woods, you can see where it's going when shooting it and you can see it coming at you. I've played a few games using clear paint and the ruling of every hit counts as a kill in fact the last game i played using normal paint i was walking after every hit as it had become the norm for me, and of course you will get cheaters but then you get cheaters in every form of paintball, i even understand that some types of players train to wipe away hits by sliding and stuff.

Completely agree, the only issue I have with clear paint is that it often comes up large. Other than that, the majority of players are happy to take bounces, as routine I've started taking bounces as hits even if bounces don't count - if I feel a hit on me I'll take it and walk. Normally clear paint would be pre-order only, with pre-orders being required 30 days or so before the event, so I think people should be rather grateful that they can choose not to attend Holmbush should they wish and only lose the £65 ticket price, rather than several hundred pounds worth of paint as well. Had this happened last year I'd understand the anger a bit more.

noticed quite a bit of people picking on things that arent actually to do with the topic and most of all picking lines out of whole posts when there are far more important, TOPIC ASSOCIATED words...

i havent got a TCUK ticket i was too late, however 217 miles (3hours 43mins) away from its original venue is farfetched, travelling from up north that venue couldnt be bloody further away, its all well and good if your local or down south, as you woul be going more or less the same distance.... what about everyone else in the uk or even abroad coming over all their stuff screwed up just because of a site change, but yes logically if the army needs it fair enough but why wasnt a closer venues chosen? surely there is one?

i 100% agree with simon you give your money over for a service at a certain venue etc you expect to get it and if not you should get a refund OR some sort of travel arrangements made to compensate the issue. Why tim hasnt clarified the things simon asks is concerning as if it was just down to the mod he would surely be able to hand over all the info perfectly reasonably but instead is clearly making some crappy girly facebook posts.

50 people who are not satisfied ill bet is far from the real number, however peopel wont come forward because theyll just get bitched at and for those of us who just wanna enjoy themselves dont want the hassle and thats how people get away with it so easily, personally i dont give a damn what replies i get im impartial on this and just stating what i see

For alot of people 65 quid is ALOT of money to just throw away! especially if the person recieving it gets to keep it for nowt! how about you give out 65quid to people who cant go? just throw it away since its nowt

simon if your demanding to see evidence regarding the relocation of tcuk maybe you should publicly share your evidence to the forums for people to make their own opinions . personaly I see it as a desperate attempt to get a refund when your not entitled to one . yes the situation sucks but it cant be helped either sell your ticket and miss out on what I suspect will be an excellent event or go to the event and enjoy what is an excellent venue and just play the game we all love.

If you actually read his posts, he does reiterate that is not just about this single event, it's about shoreline as a whole, and other events they run.
Just to save me getting blasted by people with the inability to read full posts, i have no sides in this whatsoever, I'm not attending nor did I want to. Just stating the facts that you have missed...

.......or to save all this........you could have sold them to someone who didn't get the chance to buy them in the first place and recouped some if not all of your money back......

Abe & bod, if what you are saying is true, then why don't sites and players use it?
Seems to me as though you two are indulging yourselves here at my expense. Any fool knows clear paint is a no-no for woodland games regardless of cheats etc ...
I got no problem in you two girls contributing to this thread but please try and ensure you don't indulge the truth again ....

Sorry, I perhaps wasn't clear enough. What I meant to say is that as an honest player, who enjoys playing other honest players. It's never an issue, I'm sure if I played with more people like yourself I'd have a different opinion.
