neither is cheap! I play bothPaintball is not a cheap activity but neither is golf. I don't know how much a good set of golf sticks is but some of the guys in works spend hundreds on a single one of them.
Have a browse of the classifieds, it would surprise you what you can pick up. I recently got a cracking deal on a PM7, all the modes I need, shoots like a dream, seller even threw in some nice spare bits for it too. £80 posted and I'd take it on any tourney field any day of the week.
irons £300-700 for decent sets, woods £80-150 each, driver £150-300 for a decent one, putter £70-150, wedges £80-150 each and then any other clothing, bags, balls etc etc.
a gravity fed hopper could cost you the same as a second hand electric hopper. The halo Too for example (as you mention)..picked mine up for £20 and the mrs for £30. A bit of a pain with settings but exceptional value for money at that price. More than good enough for your needs. If your only running a mid range marker then its brilliant (mini, etha, etek etc).Wel thanks to everyone, But managed to persuade the misses to let me get a brand new Etha! just got to source a hopper and a tank.
I've bin told to look out for a halo hopper. This true?
