Twizz - out of interest, do you know if any other nations have gone for the same selection style as you did by taking a couple from each team, was that the general rule ?

I see the team has been mostly picked from SPL players and three Nexus players, could be rough going up against a nations team picked from the CPL, best of luck though of course

I would think its all about gelling and playing as a team. These players all have skill, and should be intelligent enough to play the game, its more if they gel really well, they can beat anyone put in front of them. Team work is Twizz and Markie C's challenge.

To be Honest I did try and contact Ulrich last week by e mail, as he is in charge of the rules, to find out any thing about how many players per Team can I have on the field of play, per point, and a couple of questions, by no reply, so just in case we get there and they tell me 'you can only have 2 players per team on the field of play'

So I have guessed that they will say something like that, so I just picked a few players from each team a that I know off.

Nxt year we will put something else in to place about looking for other players from all over the UK!!!!!!!!!!!

But I am VERY HAPPY with the players that we have, but I know we will give it our all and.....................have a smile on our faces too!!!!!!!!!

I remember these types of events years ago and they can put a rocket up your ass to become a better player by showing the standard thats required, so I think it can only be a good thing so relish it boys and do us Proud!!! Hearing about this is making me want to make the trip down to watch and give the lads a cheer!!

Pete [Onasilverbike], are you suggesting that one-off Press release in January can be deemed as a satisfactory and timely notice for what was to come in June???
No, I agree that it has been under-publicised, about the only thing MS have pushed this year was the Longchamps venue. As for everything else, they seem to think the 'Mushroom Culture' is the way forward. FFS, they didn't even announce that the Bitburg event had moved from the airfield back to the sports fields until the Saturday of the event! However, that press release was eagerly awaited as it was the confirmation of the event dates and venues, I guess everybody stopped reading it there!

Twizz, I wouldn't have worried on that one, the Ladies Cup was pretty much played by complete teams wearing a national Jersey, there are a few countries on that list that don't have enough teams in the MS to be able to draw from to comply.

Its not like the MS can announce new rules on the eve of the event, is it

TBH, I think Team GB will kick everybody's ass an give us back a sense of national pride.

Solid playing and coaching roster. Don't forget to keep it 90!

If you need a Paper Bitch, I'm there.

And good to see the MS continually pushing back the boundaries of customer relations.

We should all get behind our boys and support them, not only for playing but for digging deep into their pockets.

GO TEAM GB!

Forget teamwork, you can't train it and if anybody says they can, they'd be lying.
The players need to focus on something more substantial than 'teamwork' and that's their technical play .... that should be the focus of everybody concerned.

Teamwork is an emergent property of a team playing technically well ..... to try and train teamwork is like chasing shadows, forget it .. and do something you can control.
