To be honest, unbanning him isn't going to do anything to help him.
What's the point in opening the door for someone if they're not welcome in the room?

Even if he was allowed back to CPPS, these forums and to continue with his 'paintball career' first: classic line), he wouldn't be able to play anywhere for the exact reason that this is our sport. We, the players and community, are the body and soul of the sport, and i'm pretty sure like previous people have said; the mass of us aren't going to be welcoming him back any time soon to play on our teams.

That is unless of course he wants to get bonus-balled to the ground in some 1 on 5

The point of this isn't to see if it's OK to unbans him from here or not, that is down to my mods and I think I already know what their call is gonna be .. the point was, when this first erupted, I called the guys at CPPS, NPF and Warped and most others to make sure his playing days were over .. I suppose if I went back to those self-same guys and asked them to reconsider on the basis of this letter and my opinion, it would mean he had half a chance to get back into those places ... but it seems I have underestimated the reaction he invoked in all of you guys and to be fair to you, I think you are right and he's blown it .. for good .... I will of course wait a few more days for more comments to be posted but I think the scene is looking set for a permanent ban here and I will inform mr breakwell of your decision when appropriate.

I think not, for a variety of untrustworthy reasons.

Although if made to rewrite his attempted apology/begging letter results in the use of the English language and grammar being applied correctly, I may reconsider..... I also just realised it has been written as a single unending sentence, or rather a question!

He's even blatantly lied in that little love letter he sent you. I live quite near Streetly but hell.... is there some kind of Timezone blackhole that allows you to have your parents split up, lose a job, do your A levels AND start Uni at the same time?

i'd say no, no and no again after reading the actual thread, it's clear that hes not sorry and just sorry he got caught. the general consensus around here is no and i agree with it. Also in his "apology" he blasts off with the emotive language and tries to justify what he did with to be honest in general quite pathetic excuses, for instance he claims his A levels stressed him out, well i'm sitting here revising as i type this and i don't intend to scam people because of it, also parents splitting up i mean fair enough it may or may not be mentally stressful but still it is no excuse for basically stealing money. KEEP HIM BANNED.

on a side note, and i know it's a generalization but it's mainly the people of my age group who believe they can get away with scamming, and to be honest it sickens me as it gives the rest of the group a bad name, so for this reason also i think he should be kept banned until he finds an ounce of maturity at the least.

I'm glad everyone on here was always mature ,never ****ed up and never needed a second chance.....

We know who he is ,he will be permanently talked about and mistrusted until he proves himself otherwise ,that is punishment in itself ,if he ****s up again I'm damn sure his next lesson will be shorter and sharper .

Crocodile tears maybe but damn sure I wouldn't write a sniveling apology email like that unless i really meant it , infarct i still wouldn't I would have just said **** it at that age and done something else.

I know he screwed over a baller and made himself look like a complete tit ! but you have to admit he has some balls as i certainly wouldnt want to get back into the sport after upsetting so many people and certainly wouldnt show my face at tournies and sites !

So it begs the question what will he get out of just being able to post on the forums as i dont think that people would let them on the field let alone join a team !

For that reason alone i dont think he is benificial for this site or sport, But good luck to him if he wants to try and get back into the sport but i dont feel that he will get any support from any of us but however much he upset people we are all falling into the same band as what he was by publicly slating him on here ???

Can you please make him a special account. Call It "Tom Breakwell" and make it so he has no control over any of his profile settings. Any way you could also give him a sig with something along the lines of:
"I am Tom Breakwell. I have lied, stolen and taken advantage of paintballers
then the links to this thread and the original.
any maybe put his name in a special colour so he really stands out.
