A thread like this shows up every couple of years with one retard that wasn't around for the last thread and doesn't realise how small the paintball community is. He doesn't realise the consequences of stiffing someone will impact his very being in the sport, either through bans or through the vicious hate rumour us paintballers are world class at.

i've not met the kid but anyone reading this thread has already formed an opinion of a bad apple which you would stay away from, so any real chance at redemption has gone, for now and the long run. We are a fickle bunch and he's now marked.

Even if he is flush (cough cough) and £120 is nothing to him then pay it back to the buyer until the marker turns up.

That was offered to him by at least Robbo, and myself in person. Looks like he didn't opt for it though.
Being the seller, does he understand he is responsible for the item/s that he sold and fully paid for by the buyer, if items go missing/doesnt turn up in post.

A couple years back, i sold an item that never turned up, how do i know it never turned up at the buyers doorstep, because i sent it by recorded delivery, and you can check if the item did arrive or not online.
It was my responsibility to ensure the buyer got his/her item or there money back, in my case, it was the latter.

Sending recorded or next day special for more expensive items gives peace of mind for both the seller and buyer.

Fixed Alan :D
(for those that don't know Alan, his restaurant was raided last year by the UK border police and they found NO illegal workers ;))

It would seem as though even breakwell has been able to work out the lesser of evils in this whole affair and I have little doubt breakwell's father may have played a role in what I am about to tell you.

breakwell has offered to pay me the money on the basis I sign a form saying I have sent the money to Mark in Ireland ... it would seem breakwell tars everybody with his own brush and feels others could well be scamming him .. I have sent him a copy of my paypal transaction and that's gonna have to do I'm afraid as I feel quite insulted he has even asked me to prove anything. ...

He also wants Mark in Ireland to sign a letter of some sort claiming he hasn't received the marker ... the fackin cheek of this guy knows no bounds.

On top of that, he tells me he has been to the police and they have told him [yawn] I am not able to ban him from going anywhere and that all bans on places like the CPPS, NPF and Warped shall be lifted prior to him sending the money ..... my blood begins to raise its temperature :/

I didn't ban him from anywhere other than my site, which of course I am quite entitled to do seeing as he broke the rules on more than one occasion ... secondly, Jim Frensham who owns Warped, Rich Harris who owns the CPPS and the the guys over at NPF [Ricky Dann and Co] all took it upon themselves to ban him from their events or properties on the basis of what I had told them had happened.

They have every right to exclude breakewell on the basis of them not wanting his type around ... of course breakwell didn't go anywhere near the police to ask them on all this; it's a civil matter and not a criminal one .. in fact, there is a criminal consideration going on here and that's what breakwell has been up to all along ... the irony of breakwell's lie in telling me he has been to the police is seemingly lost on him.

This is the deal, he pays up and then, and only then will I reconsider what I tell Jim, Rich and the the NPF guys .... and IF i change my mind, then those guys have every right to either extend their ban permanently or to lift it, it's their call not mine but they definitely won't lift it unless they get a call from me explaining breakwell has finally paid up ...

Once again, this is in breakwell's hands and I have yet to be convinced his total arrogance and ignorance isn't going to win out yet again and he holds back from doing what's right ....I hope I'm surprised !!

As a lot of you have quite rightly remarked, it is 100% the responsibility of the sender to make sure that whatever it is they send gets there .. breakwell hasn't done this, he hasn't assumed responsibility at all and this is why he's in the sh!t he now finds himself in.
There's a moral in there somewhere I'm sure

Of course the police didn't think to ask why he was banned from the above places and just completely ignored the fact Breakwell is commiting internet fraud when he explained it to them.

he is sooooooooooooooooo full of ****.

We have a saying in Holland: Zoals de waard is, vertrouwt hij zijn gasten. Which translates as: The landlord trusts his guests as he himself is. Seems like Breakwell's inn is not the sort of place where you can leave your wallet on the bedstand.

Sounds as though breakwell's inn isn't that far down the road from abbott's hotel .... they are birds of a feather it seems ....
