This thread should be made a sticky on the 'For Sale' section just as a testement as what can happen if you try and scam people on this site!

Or just a before and after photo of breakwell when Robbo's finished with him... :p

But in all seriousness it's really encouraging to see this level of commitment to the forums and community! I was a bit weary at first when purchasing so was very careful (yet still untrusting), but seeing this amount of effort put into making it fair is very lifting :)

Within 20 minutes of meeting tiny I said, 'this guy is a f**king liability'.
After his displays at the cpps last season and at npf I'm amazed he wasn't banned from either earlier.
I lost count the amount of times I had to repeat 'nothing to do with my team' last season while he was talking to some of my junior players. One of which being 'joshS'.
Josh played for us for the season (he left at the end of the season) and he's a good kid, if not rather nieve and easily led. I would like to see you guys give him a chance of redemtion but I respect individual choice.

Tiny never had a place at our team and was never even considered a reserve for the reserves, long may that continue.

Definably m8, all though this is a bad situation, their is a silver lining at that is for us new guys it's made a whole world of difference :) (for me anyway)

Since i joined i have been looking for kit, seen quite a bit i liked but was never willing to put that much money at risk, so i stuck to £20/£30 items, thinking if i get done its not the end of the world.

But after reading and seeing all this happen, i'm happy to buy anything, i mean i was happy to put £180 into kit and be confident it will arrive and if not something would be done.

So their is always a bright side to everything, and this time the forum really has come out looking fantastic, with trust and a friendly nature i've never seen on any forum before.

My pint stays half full :D

We, as a Mods team will try our best to help anyone out who has helped themselves by following the rules but as a buyer it really is up to you to do your research on the member you are thinking of buying from.

Just some simple things that will help you and us if things go tits up.

Check their post history
Pm other people who have bought from them before
Get as much information about them as possible (full name and address, phone numbers)
Agree how an item will be posted and in what time period.

Also don't assume Robbo will refund your money and then hunt the offender down to get his back, the member who is been helped at the moment owes Pete a masive thankyou for his goodwill

Remember the forum is in no way responsible if you get scammed,we try to help because we are decent people not because we have to

I wish to add something here that is hugely relevant:- this thread may give you guys the impression I am the only mod prepared to pay a 'personal visit' to people who have scammed on our site, this just is not true.

We have other mods such as Gassy who have also made trips around people houses to make sure our members got their money or goods back ..... I don't know the exact number of times my mods have called round to see people but you guys have to know, my mods don't get paid .. they do this cr@p for the love of our sport and they hate the idea scum like breakwell and co using our forums as an opportunity to defraud people.

I doubt this will be the last time our mod crew gets personally involved in sorting things out but I just want you to know I'm not the only one prepared to try and help you lot out if you get scammed .... I am very proud of my mod team and very grateful for what they do .... I hope you are too !

Not just pride Robbo but respect as well! The Mod team on p8ntballer go above and beyond the call of duty. And not just in this case but anything they do on the forums makes me glad to be a part of the paintball community.
The Mods have always come across as fair and unwaivering in their devotion to the forums and our sport.
