We have always backed the idea from its inception but now to allign with the Federation aims and our own and for the peace of mind it offers we will need to police and enforce this.

Sorry if this makes things worse but according to UKPSF website the CPPS event(s) are not covered by UKPSF insurance, the NSPL and UK Masters is their but not CPPS.

Any idea why your not on the list?

parksy was just about to post up about it
we all forget BOP run the cpps
also looking at the list you forget people like warped and shoreline are on it aswell they also run alot of events for the scenario guys
i;e nvs, staargate and armaggedon to name a few

just a quick thought how come the scenario guys have imbraced this scheme yet
tournie players ,not all have to argue about progress .
we want to be taken seriously as a sport, then we have to start acting like one:)

I am by no means skint mate but the kids on my team are! I do begrudge being treated like a child and told what to spend my cash on! Its not the amount - its the principle! I make decisions everyday that could affect my life THATS WHY I HAVE LIFE INSURANCE!, when I play abroad I have travel insurance that covers me for paintball!. I honestly don't care about the federation, it's not a factor in my life nor will it ever be - I just want to shoot people in the face!!!!

Some of you guys must be seriously loaded!
Dumbest and most disrespectful post I have ever read on here in recent times.

If it wasnt for the likes of the UKPSF you wouldnt be playing paintball as it stands right now in the UK.

To not care about the infrastructeure that makes this sport happen, not wishing to support it, or indeed make sure that should the worst happen, your fellow paintballers are taken care of, makes you in my eyes, not welcome in the paintball community.

ALL MEMBERS of Newcastle Lockdown will be supporting this move.

G-Day Matey`s, After looking at this thread and I hope thousands are, We can see the Lunacy of player leading his team with no money of NOT wanting to have Insurance and ID number to stamp out ringers , It`s not what you might call new to the sport or that you haven`t seen it coming as It`s been around for quite a time now,
This is considered a luxury extreme sport with so much high-tech equipement and all costing a lot of money, this is not break barrelled rifles shooting corks that children like and quite frankly shouldn`t be in this sport of paintball , it`s only where Dad says go on my son lets see how much pain you can take that allows it , lets face it all kids like guns.....can`t afford it .....Don`t do it.
Having respect for not only your own equipment but to have respect for safety to all other players around you,..I think this player should go back into the woods where he could be better at taking his chances and not caring about site or players, this is not a good example to the rest of his team to follow , Try having a car accident against someone with NO insurance, see how far you get , bet they said the same thing " I`ll take my chances " the damage has been done ? We live in modern times , Expect the Unexpected............Bluey

Can somebody tell me how much this UKPSF thing costs per year? A definitive answer please?

Edit.

After doing a bit of research (i.e. clicking on the link) Asylumkiller, just suck it up mate. £15 quid, Christ, i probably lose that in change a week. Don't give me the argument that your players are young and don't have £15, I used to play and I never had £15 even tho I was in my 20s and had a job. And I know you did too. It sucks, but if you don't pay it you don't play. hell, how much did we have to pay for a Millenium ID? £20? Didn't want to, but we had to. At least with the UKPSF you're insured. It aint gonna change, you just gotta suck it up.
