I wanna be prime-minister for a year .......
No you don't Pete, it's the most thankless job going and not very well paid. The only time you make any real money is once your out of office.

If, However, I was in that position I'd introduce the following policies: -

- end placing mother and toddler parking next to shop entrances. Kids are getting fatter so their parking should be at the far end of the car park to promote excercise

- pie shops should refuse to sell pies to fat people. If I'm drunk and go in a pub I'm refused beer so what's the difference.

- give benefits in food and housing tokens and if you've been out of work for 3 months you can't go in the pub.

- students in pubs should be banned unless they can afford a drink and won't nurse it all night. That means one drink each, not straws.

- if your on benefit you work part time for the council. The governments fit for work scheme means doctors give you a fit note to say what you can do.

- reality tv shows should be banned or in the case of big brother contestants should be placed on set and not filmed. Basically guantanamo for chavs.

On reflection these policies explain why I will never be PM

Just noticed that the cons and libs are neck and neck in a our poll, thats quite intresting.

I will vote conservative, seeing what labour has done to this country has made me sick to the knees, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, yet the poorer will vote labour because the bennefit system and nanny state they have introduced actually bennefits them, how messed up is that?
The justice system actually protects the criminal because of our barmy laws and human rights, which is outragous, (anyone burgles me - it my house, my laws, they wont go home walking regardless).

We cannot kick out illeagl immigrants who break our laws because of 'their' rights, and lets face it, no one knows how many of them are here anyway? Crime shot up when the gates were opened, prisons are over crowded, the NHS is bought down to its knees becuase theres less people pumping money in to it, and too many free riding illeagals getting free care. - whos paying for it, you are.

Child poverty is still a major factor in some places in the UK - how disgusting is that in this day and age?

Im not saying the cons will sort this out straight away, and i know we got a rough ride to get there because of the amount of debt the nation is in, so whatever gov gets in, they will raise taxes, most likely starting with VAT, to 20-21% but it needs somone with guts a younger, fresher, family orientated man to start making things right, and start putting foot to ass properly and removing this nanny bo0ll0cks.

Im done..

Does that not seem like a wasted vote for you? Can anyone really think that Labour are still going to be in power at the end of all this?

My thoughts about voting for Labour would run along the same lines as how people would feel about voting for the Lib Dems 10 years ago... they seem to have switched places if the opinion polls are correct (and the one above is!).

Of course the mere fact that Gordo will get the first chance to create a government in the event of a hung parliament does give them a glimmer of hope to be able to hold onto some power.

What are the chances of the Lib Dems and Tories creating a coalition? Slim to none?

All starts to seem a bit **** when you think about it for too long! I'll still be voting Tory anyway.

I half hope consevatives get in because the next party in charge will be in for one term and then won't be in for a generation due to the cuts that will be needed.
Unfortunately the torys will do it in the first year causing a slump in the recovery and a longer rise out of it.
They've demonised hard working, tax paying public sector workers.
They moan about immigration but are happy that their supporters ship British jobs abroad or take on immigrant workers 'because British workers don't have the same work ethic'.
They have no discernable policies and there sums don't add up.

Bnp - the most unpatriotic thing you can do is not work, not support your family and not contribute to the nation in a positive manner. A good chunk of bnp supporters fall into this bracket while 'flying the flag'.

Labour - failed to get the populace support because Gordon is an easy target and they were in power during the expenses scandal, saw an economic downturn that affected the world (we are recovering better than most barring the election wobble) and have overseen a rise in immigration, reduction in crime, reduction in child poverty and reduction in financial burden for working men and women

lib dems - the only reason we are discussing them is because nick clegg looks good on telly (election decided by media). If he got in power his nuclear and defence stategy would see 60,000 people in this country on the dole in a matter off months. Lib dems are good on local councils but don't understand the big picture.

Why leaving EU would be bad ?

It will massively reduce our market efficiency in term of sales.
Thats how they want you to think it works.
But beleive me reality doesnt come close to that.

From where Im sitting, People inside the EU have to pay UK tax on my exported goods but people outside will more than likely not.

My companies products are more compettitive outside the EU.
A frugal customer would be looking for alternatives outside the EU where taxes are more easily avoided.

Despite all the regulations, each country within the EU has a its own unique attitudes and characteristics.

Italy for instance is run by the Mafia. You cant legislate against that its simply how their country is.
In Greece, paying tax is only really for gullible people.

Free and fair trade is great. But you cant legislate people into being the same.
Its insulting to the people concerned and a waste of billions of pounds.
