My first time was a one on one and I had a pump with a 10rnd tube that fell off without me realizing before I took my first shot. I worked hard to sneak up on my friend and when I did I took a shot and realized I had no paintballs. And he gogged me.

The best experience from my first time paintballing was when we were playing Center flag. I as usual get nominated to get the flag cos I run like a hare on steroids! I got into the fort and clambered around looking for the flag. Found it, and then realised that I was kinda stuck in the middle of a big fight. Now it was my first time so by now I'm crapping myself! This was when I saw the large concrete tube which acted as a side door for the fort. I made my way towards it and put the flag in the back pocket of my combats. From the tunnel I could see a protective mound of earth which I decided to go for, so in true commando style I rolled out of the tube... it was at this point that I noticed the 2 foot deep moat around the fort! My roll (which was quite impressive) took me just too far and I landed with a loud moan of pain in the thankfully dry ditch. I could hear one of my loyal teamates sniggering behind me, I've never lived that down!

smally as one of the loyal teammates i remember that roll, nice.
My first time playing i remember being in the base. I was one of those typical "Ill stay back and guard the base types", anyway nothing happened for a while at the base so me n my mate egg decided to leave the other 10 and go for an explore. After getting about 20 meters we saw that all our team (other than the guys back at base) had been wiped out and the other team was charging. So bearing in mind this was my first game we both turned and bolted back to the base, only to get completely lit up by our base buys.
I had the bruises for weeks. After that, i was hooked.
