I have to add that I saw Brian French do the move he describes and it was pretty cool because the way he was running around the field was like he was invisible

Yes it was that game. It all kicked off at the end, with the last bloke throwing his gun and being escorted of the field by our guns and the marshells

Despite all the fun I've had in tournaments, my fave moment was actually during a walk-on game!
The setup: I was on a business trip and had nothing to do on a Saturday night. Luckily, there was an indoor paintball field nearby. So I drop by, rent a field gun and goggles (both total crap) and, looking like a total newbie in my sweats and CO2-shooting Piranha, proceed to jump in with the regulars. A bunch of kids (maybe 12 or 13 years old) were there with tricked out Angels, jerseys, the whole kit, and trashtalking everyone around them.
The moment: One game comes down to three of them against me. They're trash talking a storm and dumping hopper after hopper on my bunker. I hear a kid coming to do me on the left, so I pop out and one-shot him right in the goggles (lefty, no less). The second kid is hanging out his bunker while reloading. Bad form - another one down. By now the crowd on the sidelines is going nuts, cheering me on and laughing at the Angel kids. It's down to a 1on1. I wait patiently for the kid to have to reload. Sure enough, there's his hopper spinning like mad. I walk up on his bunker, lean over the top and say "surrender".
Bunkered by a fat guy with a rental gun. Needless to say, the Angel kids didn't do much trash talking the rest of the night.

Well i was playing in the forest before and i was going round to bunker this guy and i ran into a tree...

my best moment was on my very first time, which kinda helped me get hooked.
anyone who knows npf, knows the farmhouse field. well, using s rather shoddy site tippmann, I managed to take out a few ppl, an saw no 1 ahead, just the bushes surrounding their base. so i did mad rush into the bushes, an slowly crawled/snook all the way round behind all of their remaining players. My site goggles had steamed up, couldnt see anything, managed to slip my finger to my lens an wipe it (kinda naughty i know) looked ahead, ooooh enemy spotted, facing opposite direction. no sorry, 2, no 3, uh oh. at least 6 ppl. rite. rambo time. stood up, shot out 3 in the back without them even knowing i was there. Others shot back, an asked for me to be checked. got checked, no marks, so given 5 seconds to run.
argh peg it. balls flying past my head i run off into the bush, an decide to move around to the other side. again target spotted, take them out. hmm none left.
hear marshall shout 1 minute left, player, you might as well go for it.
rite. all the adrenilin rushes to my head, i run, grab the flag, carry on running. into about 5 ppl, anabout 20 paintballs. ouch.
ah well, earned me a top gun award, few bruises, and a life of paintballing all is good
