I'm pretty new to e-bay and recently when an item i bought from Egypt failed to arrive i contacted the seller, who pleasantly said very sorry they'd post it again. So i waited another 3 weeks for the item (sending by post not courier they said) and still no item. Then when i went to compalin/get a refund from Paypal I realised they have a 45 day time limit. Luckily the item was only £15 so no big deal but they duped several other people too so they pocketed a nice sum. Ah well, we live and learn

heres a little fun
just do what i did and say to the buyer that you are not entirly sure that its a legit deal and are a bit scared of sending such a large cheque, then print off a nice funny fake cheque from the internet (beleive me there are some funny ones)and send it to the address they supply the second time bacause they do pick it up, and enter in the amount field the right amount and if your lucky like i was i received an amazing email stating that they need another cheque as the one sent could not be accepted when they tried to cash it and also sent me a cheque for the cost of postage to try again, like i said if your lucky, but hey at least they then know that people are cliking onto their scam

lol this reminds me of a time my mum got scammed for an lv bag her mate went to the guys house up in maiden head and kicked his front door down the guy spilled the money straight away and paid for the money for petrol home lol

Peopel are so stupid like that...Dodgy deal, the scammer and the scammee are the only two people in the country as fars as the twat is concerned....then they are shocked and amazed when some skinhead, with tattoo's on his forehead, kicks his door in and beats him sensless...thats why ist never good to scam anyone...you just dont know, who they are or how connected they are.
I mean...look at us...I live in Kent...i get scammed by someone in Edinburgh (pour example)...now, I know...there are loads of people on here , who live that way...and chances are, fo a drink...they could arrange a visit to teh scammers house...possibly within hours of the offence....just silly really.!

Exactly - had a guy trying to scam me in Ireland - just happened i had a team of fitters over there who duly did a house call - i was happy
I definately think this should be drawn to the attetntion of the E-bay powers that be. It should be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
