A lot of players spend more time shooting bunkers than people anyway so your probably more likely to be shot if you look like a bunker ;)

:) Yeah, you do tend to notice that when marshalling, you have to clean both sides of every single bunker in a div 3 game, but a Div 1 game, there might be one mark on some of the bunkers- the better players are actually shooting at where the players might be, past the bunker rather than trying to shoot at them through it :rolleyes: :).

And no to the camo..

As far away from you as possible
It's been proven that at such short ranges, with almost constant movment cammo wouldn't work well even in a woodland environment, I don't really think it's very applicable to sup air, however I do think cammo is EXTREMELY useful in woodland play and not just for "soldier wannabe types", I see a lot of players playing in bright coloured kit and end up just playing speedball in the woods because almost everyone's position is known, that sort of wrecks the day for me, cammo is king when used correctly.

p.s. Your eyes naturally pick up movement, pattern and outline recognition is secondary.

p.p.s. Can you tell I get p155ed at people calling me army boy for using something thats effective :p

Phil - I believe that the primary recognition region could well be the outline .... leastwise that's what i seem to remember because if you think about it, this is the exact area that goes thru the biggest change in the visual field when something changes position. The brain is finely tuned to recognise outlines mate and thus any changes they undergo.

Indeed-o

The reason why the human eye reacts to movement is precisely because it causes a change in previously "scanned and filed" outlines.
