It wasnt all on the feild!

Not that i know much of the languages but whilst i was spoding on xball (running around cleaning bunkers) i saw a few spectators getting pretty heated. Im not sure which nationality they were but it was the danes vs the sweeds. Anyway one guy was shouting into the game telling his team where they were and this other guy was just about to go up and lamp the guy before he was held back by his mate. I just hope paintball doesnt attract hoolaguns like football does. After all, weve already got theives...............

ok I watched the X Ball and it certainly is awsome.
I also saw the yanks getting rather heated to say the least, now I know this gives the marshells a hard job but I hate to say it but its bloody entertaining. People enjoy conflict and dont get me wrong its tough on the judges but it makes it alot more interesting, the crowd can get right into it with the jeers and cheers.

When I went back down to the players' area I looked around and finally spotted Sergei with a radio around his neck. He had climbed up onto the center tower and was looking at the game. I waited for him to use the radio (just to be sure) and then I warned him that no radio communication would be allowed between the players' area and outside. He then took the radio off and put it away.

We were stood ontop of the concourse watching the USA Vs. Denmark game. It was wicked and we were cheering and 'assisting' players on both teams (as I thought the rules stated). Niall came out of the tower and told us to stop, so we did. Aparently the only 'assistance' given from our side of the field should be from the coach byt the tape line. The other side of the field (Snake side) was for the crowd to help out.

We took this info on board and stopped, but during the Swedish Vs. Russian game some of the Swedes next to us were telling the team positions. They did it in Swedish andchanted it, so it sounded like it they were cheering for their team, not telling where the Russians were.

I think they may have been the guys you were refering to.

I will stand corrected to anyone who is the X-Ball arena and witnessed the goggle incident - but - from the upstairs bar it made a hell of a bang on the wall for a pair of goggles.

As for the 50/50 split on prize money - Russia - you are too nice!

As everyone else has said - Strange played no more ball than anyone else, and, in my opinion Strange just gave the states a worse name for themselves. I'm sorry but it was a nearly all european crowd - did they expect everyone to cheer them on?!? Thats the downfall of playing away in spectator sports! Perhaps thats why America is not in many international sporting events...

Anyway well done to the other 3 teams, made it superb, I did feel that the final was a little slow for X-Ball, lots of sitting back and not as agressive as previous games, but there was alot at stake so understandable (lot of friendly and not so friendly rivalry betweeen Denmark, Sweden - even my mum who is Danish phoned me to ask how they were doing! :D )

Lastly - Piper - you had me in stitches all night long! Good work! :D Especially when you didnt turn your mic off during the above mentioned incident!
