From what I´ve heard and it´s only what i´ve heard it makes 100% sence that the U.S. should win this tournament! I have to agree with Micah on this.

And let´s stop complaining about this or that, let´s see the business point of view. The U.S should win this tournament from the marketing point of view, Americans have a great pride in their nation and in every thing they put their hearts in to, so to win this X-Ball tournament is a well chosen way of mass marketing communication to X-Ball in the U.S.

Robbo - Richmond is Canadian but can you ask him where is money is? The U.S. I suppose...

What X-Ball was all about was finding a way to turn paintball into a real professional sport at some point in the future. Are people gonna make money doing it? You bet. And a good thing too cause if they didn't it wouldn't happen, would it?

For purposes of professional X-ball who cares how much paint is used or who pays for it? Totally irrelevant. If you ain't a a real pro player you ain't gonna be playing X-ball anyway.

What this and Magued's willingness to test out field variations in Sweden will do is create shorter, tighter more aggressive paintball which will use less paint on the regular tourney circuit. Time to see now if AC will try anything out of the ordinary next week.
(Best thing about IAO were field layouts. Played fast and allowed aggressive teams to step it up. We played 2 games in three days that lasted more than 5 minutes.)


BTW--Yep, it was Alex. And Pete, what did you think of fields in Sweden? Ready to try a diamond-shaped field yet?

My point was the format isn't intended to serve as a new model for general tourney paintball--hence a game most or all tourney ballers participate in. It is intended as a format that will allow for the formation of a real, honest to God pro league--hence only real, professional ballers will be playing.
I was neither complaining nor commenting only offering my view of what's up.
Perhaps a Baca to English to Diggie dictionary is in order.

Actually I thought of 2 things I wanted to know. Why does Ant Look so much like the Pictures of David Jarvis I've seen. And Can I get in contact with TJ or is he jsut a figment of my imagination or one of somebody's Multiple personalities. And 3rd How come ... if Mr Italia paied for everything why couldn't the dutch ... or who ever it was (I'm still recovering from a couple of parties ... Butler was such a happening town I can't remember) make it. I remember hearing it was due to money issues ... but ... oh well ...
