Nick has some good points, there will have to be some Open X Ball games on the EXL field but not vice versa. Therefore he is right that it would make it convenient for the divisional X Ball players if we used an identical playing field design.

We need to play on the same lay out the hole tournament! Isn't that a part of the consept of X-ball? That you can prepare for one field?

Another thing is that the cost of X-ball is reduced a litle by the fact that you don't need 12 hours to walk fields.

What reason would it be to have different designs anyway?

The cost is reduce by the fact that you can come to the country you play in a day later.

Usualy we arrive wednesday night, now we can come thursday in the midle of the day.
This saves one night at a hotel and one day of work.

from a div 1 point of view

it would be slighty more than convenient as a team that played 2 games on one field would have a advantage over a team that plays 1 game on one and another on the other

If they're smart they will follow the example of the PSP & NXL and keep the Divisional fields the all the same. Since you play so many fewer games teams will have a HUGE advantage to having played a field before another team, as martin said.

You won't have to come in days ahead of time to walk the fields if they have them out ahead of time. NXL teams get the arrangements ahead of time and have a few weeks to play the fields before they have to actually compete.

Is it any reason for not doing like this?

Anyone?

The NXL and the divisional fields are different though arent they Booya? Then all 3 Divisional fields are the same?

The difference is is that in the EXL there will be an EXL field, and one Divisional field, so only 2 fields rather than 4
