From all the activity that has gone on over the past 24hrs I’m starting to think that this desponge is right. There has been nothing but bad words and a lynch mob attitude, I understand that there are people out there wishing to sabotage things, grief people and generally be nasty. But for a group of adults who all supposedly love the same sport and wish for it to evolve, it appears that you can't seem to get past the fighting like it's the only thing that drives you. Maybe for once people should lay off the newbee, allow them to have their two bit and then calmly reply without having a my father will p@wn your father in a fight attitude. This guy may have wanted to cause trouble, and that is what they have ultimately done as everyone is lowering themselves to his level with immature backbiting.
Maybe Reiner is right and we should all take a step back and look at our selves and how we are portraying the uk paintball scene.

He was given more than a fair chance to wind his neck in and learn the whole story, not just the sob story that a certain individual would have layed on thick to any sucker willing to listen
It's not a lynch mob mentality at all Zen, it's a collective response to the scum-bag end of our playing demographic; it's a collective frustration of well meaning, articulate people [members] to idiots who have nothing better to do than to provoke trouble.
Go look at Pbnation if you need this notion of low-life exampled ... none of us on this site want p8nt to descend into that sort of mentality and we will react to anybody who takes a time-out to cause trouble in such an ignorant manner when he admittedly cant even be bothered to reference both sides of a story before telling me [and others] how he feels about what's happened.
It was a wholly ignorant attack by him that provoked the response he encountered .... 'cause and effect' spring to mind, but as for your mind?
I'm not yet sure what's motivating you but it's self-evidently not a fair appraisal of what's gone on.
You call it 'lynch mob', the real descriptive is a collective disgust and frustration ....
If you don't like, or agree with such a response then perhaps your time will be better served by going over to pbation and immersing yourself into the squalour and complete intellectual anarchy that site boasts.
We will try and protect what we have here ....and NEVER allow such ingrates as desponge the opportunity to post such rubbish without reacting in the way that's appropriate ... it would be rude not to !!

Right then people, if everyone is having their say I will have mine:- Coming on here and slagging off Robbo is like going to church and slagging off christianity!, it's not gonna go well is it?. I have had my opinon slapped down in the past by the regulars of baller but had the intellect, time and will to educate people that my angle was not one of a biased, uneducated fool who definately has come on here hoping to stir up old feelings that have been more than discussed in prior threads. With a proper command of the english language you can only hope to bring people over to your point of veiw, but unfortunately this fella wants to throw petrol at a fire and not get burned. Now I know what people are gonna say and that is I am part of some "old boys club", good guess fella and I make no apologies for it!. This fella claims to have the "interests" of paintball at the centre of his attack, I challenge him to tell us how this serves the best interests of paintball especially when we are all trying to deliver our sport to the masses. Nice try son, now jog on!
