my bad pete, we need to take our releases somewhere else

thanks
milt

it's easier to belittle than beleive
Milt, I will belitte those who talk cr@p for their own ends and distort anything I say for their own ends...it's as simple as that.
And no throw away aphorism as your last line either legitimises your case or weakens mine, it was pathetic Milt...truly embarrassing.

God happy????
I have no idea what that means and yes you showed me at the airport but that wasn't out of any philanthropic ideal for my sake, it was more out of vanity and self-interest.
So you go and do what you wanna go do Milt and I'll carry on telling things like they are, or are you gonna inflict another homespun aphorism on me to try and impress?
Trust me, it doesn't

Look here Dumbass, Chicago implied you as arrogant, I said your claim was arrogant......got it yet ?
Now, do I really have to explain myself or what I say anymore or are you ole boys gonna go get edumulucated?

I'm going beddy-byes now so don't go sneaking any inflammatory or derogatory posts while I sleep, I mean, that just wouldn't be cricket now would it !

Well, really, I was just poking fun at my country's general ego. I like WPL. If it happens to have the name "world" in it, well, that's what we americans do.

Besides, you're assuming they mean "World" in terms of geography. Maybe they mean "World" in terms of "Best in the World", so there wouldn't be any reason to have European teams in the first place. ;) (duck)

Aaron, I realised exactly what you were doing and the context it was said in, it's just that sometimes people like ChuckC can't understand the subtleties of expression, it's basically just a few clicks on from what they have been taught at elementary school.

As for your 'back door proposal' of redefining 'World' to mean 'Best in the World'....... :)
Nice try mate but it makes as much sense as an ashtray on a motorbike so you got no need to duck just yet.

I think it's ironic in the context of this discussion to see the name "national" used a lot when perhaps "world" or "international" would have been more appropriate. An example would be NPPL when they talk about a world series. Then there's the American Paintball Players Association that has ambitions of handling a world-wide players' database.

Conversely there is the National League and there is the American League in baseball which go together for a "World Series" that is American only and doesn't include the very large nation where baseball happens to be a significantly more popular sport (number 1 last I heard).
