Liz

jam roly polly is ok it's got to be treackle( which isn't really treackle at all) Golden syrup yummy with lots of cream or hot and crispy fresh from the oven bread and butter pudding with cinamon and cream not to be confused with equally yummy bread pudding which screams for custard and is amasingly good microwaved all fluffy and light rather than brick like and rubbery as servred most often.

Rock cakes, lardy bread, fairy cakesI could go on ok we do have some weird names but they taste good

:D

Liz it's ok we have eggs and I can bring slicing bread, eggy bread it lush with bacon, sausages, mushrooms, kidneys, black pudding scrambled egg, and tomatoes.

And I can't believe that nobodies mentioned bread and butter pudding.

Mmmmm, heaven.

Cheezy chip, or chips peas and gravy. Bizarrely the chips peas and gravy i could only ever find in a chinese take-away.

And for the record haggis is one of the finest foods out there.

What about mince and dumplings tho, ruined beef, and big balls of "stodge". Now there's an odd meal.

Or that stalwart of the pub snack - "Pork Scratchings" :D

McDonalds do French Fries, we do chips. Chips are Chips, Crisps are Crisps and Fries are Fries.

Remember we did it first therefore we are right.

Ooplah!!!

(Just because you invented Paintball Markers, dont let it go to your head :D )

I can't believe that nobody's mentioned Pickled Eggs yet!:D

Sparklie- I wasn't hinting, honest. Just trying to work out what Micah was on about. Then again, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, sausages sound lovely, but hold the tomatoes & black pudding;)
