Well not wanting to sound too pedantic but engineering composites and steels have a very similar strength range (100-1200MPa). Composites though have a density of about 1/4 of that of steels or 1/2 that of aluminium, but composites are also about 10 times more expensive per unit volume than steel and aluminium.Originally posted by ruthlessp8ntballer
I'd rather have it be 50 pounds and be able to get smashed with a rock and still work, than have it weigh only 2 or 3 pounds and the marker dies if you yell too loud around it.
Well duh, that's because it'd have to be placed on a tripod...Originally posted by John C
The steel gun would be alot more accurate than a composite one because it would be alot more stable.
Especially under high rates of fire.
Yeah...who remembers the "planet stance"? That just goes to show what people percieve as "cool or right" necesarily work.Originally posted by matski
John I don't agree, if a player has learnt how to hold their marker correctly and has decent upper body strength then the accuracy difference wont be noticed.
Tripods are always good, especially helpful when you get lazy, and you're in the back left beer-can.Originally posted by Buddha 3
