There's a big difference: Vietnam was 30 years ago and WWII finished nearly 30 years before that
The Yugoslavian civil/independence wars were still going on very recently and the Lebanon (Beruit) is still none too calm
Some of the SC Village fields are bloody crass if you ask me.
I've played at SC village and it is another world. Hard to understand until you are there. Disney meets paintball. Their site gun used to be the Cocker !! Not sure what it is now. It's not perfect (Massive cattle farm right next door so it's smells big time!) I played on the helicopter field a few years ago which Colby Keats and we had a blast, for some reason he ended up backing me up in a game (Rec Ball about 60 a side) I was crawling down the left (As you look at the picture we started bottom left of the field and I crawled to the top left, not in the trees !!) Colby was blasting over my head while I crawled along, every time I got close to someone in front they just seemed to get up and walk off. Colby's playing well I thought. I wasn't until after the game and about 20 of so people had walked off that I found out that they played a 10-foot rule. If you got within 10 foot of a player the ref dragged them out. Spoilt my fun a little, but a great days ball...

Played SC Village, the place was a zoo on the weekend I was there. Just insane. That field you see up there? Play it 150 on 150, BYOP. In '96 it was crazy. I can't imagine it now with everyone having an 'electro and $35 cases.
But it's a looker, that's for sure.
