ok guys i have had this discussion with my friend a few times about his and my views on the subject, but is wiping cheating, or is it just part of the game.

i believe it is part of the game to b honest. Call it a radical view but really, if it wasnt then why do we choot each other with a form of stuff that u can actually wipe off in a quik and intense situation.

Another reason is that it makes the game much more interesting and makes u need that little bit more skill to play the reffs or get it off u before the reffs see u.

Now really i would not b expected to play paintball without wiping the odd little occasion. Its like telling a international footballer to go out in a game and not dive . its just part of the game,

these are my views, what are urs people:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

i think its cheating. You shoot someone they should be out, not, they have the chance to wipe if they good enough at it. Its just like on greg hastings.

Its like the subtle stamp in rugby, or a dive in football like you said, its against the rules, an it is cheating, but people do it because they can.

There is a certain aspect of playing the refs, but at low level of sports, do you really need to do it?!? Does it matter that much that you are prepared to undermind the whole idea of sportmanship to win that one game/match??

Wiping

Bush,

to put my perspective on this matter. I've been playing over 11 years now predominantly rec ball, have trained with teams on sup air. When playing with customers without their own kit adopt a policy of one hit and the player should walk. Over the past year I have encountered more and more wiping, the only solution is to put 5 or 6 hits on the player so they cannot wipe it all off by the time the marshall gets to them then they cry overkill - it spoils the day and leaves a sour taste.
