I wonder if he had lifted his goggles and got shot?

Or if it was one of the numerous "but the safety is on/gun is off, why do I need a barrel bag?" firing in the safe zone incidents...

The reason I posted it, is because I think people need to learn from it. They need to respect the markers they use and the imprtance of safety gear. It scares me how casually people carry guns without BBD's when there are people without goggles on.

If the concensus of people here is that it's not a good idea to post it (for the sports sake), then I'll take it down?

I agree Ant and Dec in Byker grove were arseholes but you have to respect how they made Cat Deelly (sp?) squirm with innuendo's on childrens TV :) oh yeah. You know more adolescent (and adult) males were watching that than kids...

Its quite a scary thought that when I first started balling, head protection consisted of just a pair of safety goggles or if you were lucky a pair of JT whipper snappers. One of my mates had his earlobe torn from a point blank range (ie. 4 inches)

BTW One of my girlfriends old flatmates is best friends with Cat Deely. Anyone wanna swap a decent marker for some of Cats undies?

Only a matter of time... the low number of eye injuries completely defies all probability, it amazes me. But tourney ballers are pretty reponsible, the ones that aren't are constantly reminded by the 99% that are. It's the plastic crap markers that are appearing that worry me most, lots of kids out there with them now.
