My exgirlfriend once went to play paintball with some friends of mine and myself. My sister also came along.Originally posted by Nickyboy
I don't think it's for some girls though, my girlfriend couldn't give 2 shizzles about paintball, or my boring bunker stories.
My sister played sports all through school, so she was out there ripping it up, getting dirty, trying to shoot people out, etc.
My girlfriend, who did choir through school, did not get it at all. Actual conversation:
"So basically, there's a flag on the other side of the field. We want to go over there and get it and bring it back here without getting shot and before they get our flag."
"But couldn't we just go back to the parking lot and wait for everyon to come back and it'd be the same thing?"
I had no idea what to say to that. I mean, yeah, I suppose in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter if you get the flag or not, but that's not the point! The Bulls might as well just stay in the locker room! (Well, maybe they SHOULD just stay i the locker room, but that's for other reasons entirely.)
Anyway, that relationship obviously didn't last. My current significant other has more paintball scars than I do, but I think that's just because she's REALLY skinny so there isn't any fat to soften up the hits.
The WGN show this weekend highlighted a couple girls playing on the college teams. The guys on the teams ere saying the girls were pretty good and an integral part of the team, although maybe they were just being polite.
