what the F|_|*|< u all talking about? i think you all have problems and need some serious help. yes thats right this is comeing from the kid who washes paintballs, but sleeping with ur marker come on!!! i aint got nothing against naming it but sleeping with it... u put disturbing pictures in my head!

Why did we start calling them markers....

I can answer this best with a story from a friend of mine who used to be heavy into SCA. (Society for Creative Anachronism) Anyhow, they were crossing over into Canada for an event. At the border, they were asked "What do you have in the trunk?"

"Swords and Armor." Rattan SCA swords and SCA legal combat armor, to be specific. They were then asked to pull over into the staging area, and spent four hours having their entire car searched.

On the way back from Canada they were stopped at the border, and again asked "What's in the trunk?"

"Sporting goods!" they said, and they were allowed to drive along.

It's not what the item is, but how you present it. I've gotten by at airports by just saying I had sporting equipment in my JT gear bag.

so how exactally does it work when u walk thre the xray thingy and they see a object in your bag that looks like a small machingun with a clip(forgrips or regulater) a sniper barrel and a laser sight(expansion chamber) ????? hmmmm can you even get on an airplane if they know its there??? or do u have to talk to the manager and explain your case and have them investigate?

I don't think he took it on the plane as carry on luggage dude, I think he meant he checked it in....
And if he didn't, he's one brave man!

Umm, you check your baggage. Don't carry on your gear. That's just stupid. Put it in your luggage, make sure your tanks won't get damaged, and check it in as a bag. And it looks like a motocross bag, they don't ask.

Hm, last time I flew anywhere they xray'd all my baggage including the hold stuff.
Don't think anyone has had any problems taking kit through Gatwick though, they just declare it beforehand.
