see - Cookie-guy has come on here as a northern tribesman to prove my point.
Notice how he refers to himself and his tribe as 'hard as nails'. This is a typical pagan response as Nails were actually worshiped by Iron-age northerners (during the 70's, but things do work a bit slower up there)
Notice also how he refers to the southerners - he thinks they are Homosexuals, a common theory among the northern tribes, perpetuated by the southerners' urge to ruin any decent beer they come into contact with by adding citrus flavoring.
Most interesting is the way he catagorises the midlanders as 'Nerds'. To be a nerd you simply have to do things like read books, newspapers, and work jobs that would seem normal to people in a civilised society. 'Intellect' is refered to as 'nerdiness' as a matter of course, because the Northern tribesman (or 'Monkey' as they are often refered) does not understand what it is that the midlander does, only that it involves futuristic devices, such as computors, pens, and of course, the age old enemy - literacy. Its a sad fact, but northerners who display unusual intellect often do not reach thier early teens. They are either killed in hate-crimes or take thier own lives when they discover that they are isolated from friends and family.
I watched a documentary on it (nerdy - I know) recently. Its a very interesting social dynamic.

north=only the best live up north, no were better to be.

master,s from newcastle
and team highlander from scotland (still have the bagpipe music tape,s)
and all i can say is these were very nice blokes to play for
and always made me feel welcome
